blimey 6 hours of sunshine and all the grass has died! Or did you wear it away? :)

she's beautiful!

That's so clever. I take it that was you riding her, which is cleverer still.

Isn't she beautiful - just like a fairy tale horse. I think you're very brave to jump.

Ziggi, the pics are the wrong way round - the second one is warming up over knocky-downy jumps in the school before the non-knocky-downy ones!

OM, yep that's me complete with back protector! She loves her jumping (when she's in the mood - and she was today)

Mountainear, thankyou. I often think she's like an old fashioned rocking horse to look at.

Dear M&M,

How delightful! She does look like an old fashioned rocking horse. You make me want to dust down my back protector and get out there with you.

What a perfect day.

You both look very professional to me ...

Oh M&M, the back protector has dented my rather romantic image of you galloping around the countryside, not quite in the style of lady Godiva, but certainly never falling off. You yourself seem to be shaded out of recognition in these pictures but should you not also pixellate the mare to be on the safe side. That would be shame though, as she is rather lovely...

DM, get thee to horse ...

SAHD, thank ye kindly...

Rilly, I do gallop around the countryside sans back protector .. however, the Grey Mare had not done cross country jumps for some time and I thought it was better to be safe than sorry. She behaved beautifully..

Oh, and I do fall off plenty - once I was bucked off (not by the Grey Mare) twice in the space of tow minutes...

I like the jumps you can't knock down - or rather I used to. What a lovely way to spend the day.

Sorry to be thick, but what is a back protector when it's at home ??

crikey, must be handy if you stray onto a firing range as well

Good for you with the jumping. As I get older I find I'm getting keener on dressage...
