And it's goodnight from her...

Regular readers will have noticed I have not been particularly blogtastic of late.

A year ago, I was firing on all cylinders, enthused and eager. A year ago, I was writing for a business publisher where creativity was stifled and big words were frowned upon.

Now, working for a newspaper again, I feel fulfilled creatively and no longer have the urge to tip-tap away when I get home. I’m also enjoying the spring evenings with the Grey Mare.

So, for now, I am disappearing from the blogosphere. I may be back – who knows?

so long and thanks for all the fish! I've enjoyed your blog, so I shall pop back now and again to see if you have any other interesting little tales to tell. I'm pleased that your new job is so much more creatively fulfilling though.

Far better to get paid for what you love doing! And much healthier to be riding than sitting in front of a computer. I should take some of my own medicine (but doubt I will). All best wishes.

Very good news that your job is so fulfilling but I will miss the Morthumberland updates. Will just have to go on the paper's web site.

I'm late catching up, work became too demanding for a while. I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying the new job. I bet you and the Grey Mare are enjoying this spell of glorious weather too. All good wishes to you both.

There is a great rank of bloggers who try to leave, and then trickle back. Great that you are leaving for such positive reasons, and I wish you well. (But could you perhaps try just cutting down rather than stopping altogether?)
