Isn't this marvellous?

The lovely Gill at The Dark Blonde blog did it for me after I admired her Sean begging for absinthe.

Gill is a poet, writer and digital artist and her blog has some fabulous stuff on it - lots of which seems to be absinthe inspired...

Go have a look.

Glad you like it! Sadly the Bards Absinthe appeal has not netted ANY cash and Mr Absinthe seems to have disappeared after I asked him for a free sample!

By the way, the colour of your blog is very good - not sure whether I am meant to call it lilac or lavender, but very pleasing on the eye all the same...

But ta anyway ...

Don't let mym mum (Gill) fool you - she'd much rather have a cup of tea than absinthe!!

It most assuredly is NOT purple, not on my screen anyway...

Purple is much deeper, your colour is a nice tone between that and, what is the word I'm looking for, pastel.

If you think this is purple, maybe you need to get the Prince film 'Purple Rain' out on video. Classic.

Although there is some argument over whether Harold Wilson's famous 'Lavender List' was actually written on lilac paper...

It's meant to be a nice mid-purple, because purple rules!

A message from Sean the Sheep's legal eagle...

M&M - It has come to our attention that you are using the photograph of our client Sean the Sheep, without having reached an agreement as to the pecuniary advantage attaching to his 'image rights' in the blogosphere.

Therefore we would be obliged if you could forward fifty pounds to the following address...

Bedd Gelert Farm
Llanfairpwllgwyngyll
Clwyd
Wales

Please do NOT send it to our office..Please could you wrap up the fifty pounds of grass very well, as it makes a heck of a mess in the post if it comes apart prior to delivery..

Thanking you in anticipation,

Sue, Grabbit and Runne...

Methinks we have a case of mistaken identity.

Sean's not Welsh - he's a Cumbrian ram, and he reckons the 'mare' exposure he gets, the better ...

Sean is at present living in Cumbria though I am not sure of his origins- he is definitely not a Herdwick. I wouldn't pay up though Eminem, sheep identity cases cost money so I don't think they will sue.

By the way I would like to point out that it he is actually Sean A sheep and not Sean THE sheep, just in case everyone at Aardman Animations has had a sense of humour bypass-which I am sure can't be the case.

You never know they might have used up all their humour making Wallace & Gromit etc.
